OMG! I met khee ern at amk hub's FunzStation. Hahas. Been so long since i have met him. He looks the same as always and feels the same as he was in primary school =) How nostalgic those times were, and now we are all mugging (or supposedly to be) for A'levels. Oh man, hope it ends soon.

JTS + Joanne's Birthday

Finally the day had arrived, the JTS!!! woah, we dined at 'with a pinch of salt' cafe near TKGS. Its a rather comfy place with nice ambience, that is, before we or should i say, angelina tan broke it xD hahas. The food was nice and the look on sykeath's face when his $19.90 food has less amount of food than yu ning's $16.90 dish! hahas. I ordered a plate of bolognese which cost the cheapest amongst the main course (even though i dont have to pay xD), but still, i managed to eat alot (from leftovers here and there =D). Our method in trying to surprise Joanne with the birthday cake was an epic failure, we were just to obvious hahas. anyway we sang her a song and had a very delicious cake! (V. fattening as well!!)

I must say I have very good juniors! so thoughtful thank you all, especially Li Pin and Priyanka! =D

ArghH. I got caught for my hair during this morning's attire check. That teacher just had to catch me for whatever reason. Okay, my hair is not exactly short, but come on, there are others with hair longer than mine and why aren't they caught. Can you at least standardize how you want to catch people fgs.

Spontaneous Zouk out
Out with EagleBrothers today. First, me mayer and sam met at hougang plaza to play L4D first. I was so noob since I rarely play it before at home and never played it at lan shop before x) been so long since i went lan-ing. Next, we went to Hougang mall to meet JD,Rick,ZH,ZY and set off to city hall interchange. There was an event, NDP roadshow I think, I think I can be the performers, no one can make any sense what they are singing/shouting and I can't hear any words at all. Seriously, there must be better players out there. Such an irritant to my ears. Oh then we went on to Secret Recipe for dinner (after deciding for like 45mins as usual). Met Zekun & Ruiwen at Marina Sq. Hahas, I was predicting I will meet them, and I was right. Deja vu? hahas. Qh and SW arrived shortly, after our orders came. The food is not bad, we gave tips, 19cents. LoL, Singaporean style. Anyway, its freaking crowded, cannot even open the door to the outside of marina square to look at the fireworks. In the end we went up to the Kopitiam there and watched the fireworks through the reflections of this super imba shiny building. Then after that we went to clarke quay to grab a drink and talk our hearts out. I saw Eugene i think, he was walking so fast with his friend that I missed my chance to call out to him.

12:45am. GG, no more last train. But still got 147!!! Woohoo! We alighted at Hougang Plaza and ate supper at Mac, then JD and Sam went home thinking we will be heading to Rick's house to sleep, But NO. we went to play LAN lol. CS ftw. First time ZH broke his own RULE and played Lan. And he was enjoying it so much lah, irony.

At around 4:40, we went to Rick's house finally, and played fifa'08 LOL. I got owned by QH and SW cuz i never play fifa one since my bro doesn't play. But it was fun. ZH knocked out. Mayer slept, ZY dozed away. Rick went to bathe. hahas. Around 640, we went off so that Rick can sleep. Paiseh to impose on him so long also. And tada, I'm now posting on my blog! and doing homework which should be done on the night of 09/08/09.

Marina Barrage
Today was very random as I went to join the other clique of 401'07 to marina barrage to picnic. What to do, after the ND celebration, everyone is going home and I feel like going out lol. Met Glenn at AMK Hub and we went to fairprice to buy some food to contribute to the picnic food. Off we went after some wait. Maxine joined us at marina bay mrt and was like "huh why bh here also" lol. Anyway, saw alot of XMS people there as well as Mr Wong (the ah beng teacher) and Mr Tang. There were alot of couple-to-be taking their wedding shots at that area too hahas. One of the bride even laid on the grass for a romantic shot. Wah, heartpain for the gown. Also, I noticed that most of the groom have a gloomy look on their faces, I wonder why.

Ok, to the main point, we decided to buy a kite and try to fly it. It's like the first time for many of us. (i was shocked, i thought i was the only one) To our dismay, the kite was a stunt kite, cannot fly high and need two people to fly. ARgh. Sad since we dont know how to fly a stunt kite and they dont sell other kind of kites. Luckily we went to borrow a normal kite from the xms people. We flew it super high! (the wind is endless over there, the kite will just fly by itself without much effort on our part hahas.

On our way back, this little boy fell when he alighting the bus, so we decided to help him since his mother is carrying so many things and has other kids to look out for. I washed his leg with water, wipe it and put a plaster over it. (Lucky i stock up handiplast in my wallet). Germaine's slipper/heels' strap snapped because siew fong stepped on them, and she also used plaster to paste it back. Wah, plasters are so useful hahas. Went to Hougang Mall eat dessert and take away KFC for dinner. Hot devils are out again, but I still think the hot devils like 8yrs back are nicer ;D

G.I Joe
Suddenly, I love Thursdays since I have only 4 lessons on Thursday which means my school hours end at 11:40am effectively although I will have to wait until 12:30pm before I can leave the school campus. Since today is such a joyous day, my classmates decided to go and celebrate by watching G.I Joe at The Cathay. The show was quite nice :) worth the money I guess.

Recently our VP has been pushing us to sing the National Anthem loudly with pride since National Day is around the corner to show our pride in our citizenship. I don't see any link between patriotism and singing of the national anthem loudly, what's important is that you sing in your heart and feel those words.

Phototaking
We had to take a PDP (CCA) Photo by end of next week so we took ours today for the year book 2009. Today was also the pilot test of project work for the J1s. Kinda bring back memories of what my group and I went through last year. This year's pilot testing seems much more organized, in the sense that many groups are well prepared and had put in a lot of efforts in making the props and all. Anyways, yeah we met up again after a long time (senior ensemble) although not everyone was present since the relay was kind of last minute as deciding that we will involve all the senior members was a last minute decision too. Initially we wanted to make it simple by only taking the Exco, but it just feels weird to let the exco represent the whole ensemble, so we decided to get everyone down.

Nice Weather
Foosball is fun! Although it may be quite a waste of money but this is like one of the few times that my classmates all want to do the same thing. Good class bonding session hahas =) Still remember the other day when the machine was stuck by some paper ball which someone put in so as to save their 50cents. The guy who's in charge of the repair is actually a J1 student from Dunman. Woah, rising entrepreneur. He came and let us play for free! Of course, we got our money back too. But quite risky since no one knows if the machine will last long enough for him to earn back his fixed cost. I shall be a good guy and try not to spoil the machine when playing. Never expected my school's VP to be so agreeing to lending of space for entrepreneurship.

Anyway, econ test today. I know my stuff but didn't have enough time to finish it. And, i missed one point! Argh. I remembered the point which i kept forgetting when i revise but i forgot the one which i always remembered during revision. Saddening but it's just a test.

Dining at 'Bliss' located in Punggol Park is quite nice although there is this waiter there who seem to have been seriously overworked. Poor thing.

Heavenscene boutique and cafe at 22 Bali Lane (near raffles hospital) offers nice desserts! Its a lil out of the way but the snacks there are worth a try! =D (do i get advertising fee? lol maybe not since readership over here is like negligible LOL)

Hand Over.
The faithful day has come. The time to hand down our duties to the next batch of the executive committee of TJ Guitar Ensemble. It felt as if there were many things I wanted to tell the new Vice-Chairperson to take note of, what to do and what not to, but words just didn't come out. I guess she will have to experience it herself and overcome them as many things that I have learned were very difficult to be expressed in words. I still remember the day when Charmaine handed over her duties to me, I was rather unsure about everything too. She didn't say much and I think because of some form of ego in me, I didn't asked much too. Do not run away from your responsibilities even if sometimes you find it dreadful. Face them together as an exco if needed or just face it yourself as overcoming it will make you grow into a stronger person :)

Mahjong
Today played mahjong at home with my mum, aunt and grandmother. Overall result for today was great. I won around $80 although initially I lost around $30. I should be glad I didn't continue to lose, which would have been disastrous considering that I just spent a bomb on rock band 2. I should be feeling happy, but for some reason, I'm not. I wonder why..

CMPB medical screening for Pre-enlistees
Finally, medical screening for me. Most of the people in my class had already went for it. I took a cab there as i couldn't find the right bus (I could have alighted at the wrong stop lol) and it costed me $8.50. Wasted. I was quite blur at the place, making a joke of myself when i couldn't hear the instructions clearly. The people working there, probably full time NS men were quite bored from the look on their faces. Some were quite cranky also lol. Will I become like them when i enter NS? Hard to say. Shall not specify what the stations were but really, I feel like an animal or a test subject when going through the checkup, degrading some would say. Glad that its over :)

Financial Crisis
Today, HK and Ivan came my house to play RE:5. They are like the first of my JC classmates to have came and played at my house. They play very amusing one cuz it was their first time playing :) (well i was kind of like them when i played it the first time.)

After which they left for home and i went AMKHub with my family. We ate and then my sis bought The Sims 3 while i bought ROCKBAND2. OUCH. It was super expensive but nevermind, can play at home with family. Hahas, now having problem finding space to keep the instruments la, i need to shift to the bungalows across the streets man.

Now, i shall survive on air, grass and sweets from my friends! LOL xD

Swimming
Went swimming at Glenn's aunty's condo today. Its been a long time since we went swimming there. The security guards there are as vigilant as ever, causing us quite a hindrance but its their job so no grudges. (anyway we are long used to it) AHH, the tennis court is taken up, man, how we miss playing tennis x). Shall try our luck some other days. We swam for about 2 hours, mostly chatting and enjoying the jacuzzi though hahas. After which we went for dinner at the Bliss in Punggol Park. The ambience there was rather romantic, with lizards hanging overhead and stuff. Tiramisu was great! so is their chocolate! However, the main course there is mediocre only. No service charge though, a merit to the restaurant.(they still charge GST though xD) We drank beer and cocktails. Hahas, all were of legal age of course, but they didn't double check with us either (we look old huh). Spent $25.50 on my dinner there. Ouch.

THE END OF JCT
Woohoo~ what can I say, a load off my shoulders for a while before the papers come back and haunt me in a few days time next week. Chem was tougher than expected, think will do quite badly. For those who are still undergoing the painful process of JCT, hang on! (but I'm not eating kinder brueno, lol)

Went out today to Ngee Ann City after the paper (MATH), okay I feel really bad because I was the late-est, by around an HOUR!! omg. Went home and bathe before going out to meet at Orchard, how the hell did it take me so long? I wonder too. Hahas. We ate at Seoul Garden. It was real fun. Walk to PlazaSing but on our way there were many distractions, like stopping by the istana park to take photo with the bar there as the background. We also went into Orchard Centre to take a look. It really has alot of elevators hahas. 8Levels in total, whoa. We tried out the rockband2 at the game shop, WELL DONE FREDRICK! hahas, the power of the people who play DJmax/O2Jam. hehes

Hahas kinda lazy to type on, so shall say brief points. Me and Joel went to buy a slice of cake from secret recipe and a body soap from body shop for Yun Jie's belated birthday present. Angelina Tan probably will not be wearing heels for next week (hahas for next week you will not be taller than me!) xD. Wanted to play Pool but then not many enthusiasts. So we dropped the idea and went home around 7:30. Shopped around at Hougang Mall before going home, yepp. I want to Mahjong but family is already watching television so i shall just keep to my own devices and get some sleep soon! Sleepy~

Routine
It seems that taking panadol has became a daily routine for me these days. Would have flu like symptoms after/during the papers and after taking a panadol and some sleep, it will be gone, just to come back again the next day. Okay, you people better keep away from me in the time being xD (it could also be my examinations withdrawal symptoms or something along that line lol)

The heightened measures against the spread of H1N1 disease in school can be felt and seen as we enter the school gate in the morning. I think it is rather hard to isolate cases in my school since even if we are not feeling well, we will still go and take the exam :) What a studious lot of people we are hahas. Was a nice movie though it is rather long. But the longer the length of the movie, the more our money is worth eh? so should not complain about it hahas. Precautions against spread of H1N1
Had to wake up early on such a nice weather just to go to school and pay the examination fees for A'levels. The time to make payment was 9am to 12noon. Yes I was quite grumpy because I'd prefer to use the time I took to travel from Hougang to Bedok to study (not on a bus though, I'll knock out before I realized). Everything was fine until i reached the school gate.

NO ENTRY WITHOUT TAKING OF TEMPERATURE WITH YOUR OWN THERMOMETERS

Great. By no chance did I bring my thermometer with me. (I only brought the cash and myself -.-) Woah, what can I say? I got OWNED, and pretty badly. If I were to travel back home and come again @ 10am, most probably I won't make it in time. Thermometers sold at nearby 7-11s were out of stock. Went around to look for thermometers and I found it at the Guardian shop, $8.50/-. Entry Fee to School = $8.50 hahas. I'd appreciate if the school actually remind us to bring our thermometers WHEN they smsed us to PAY. (and I have no idea why the giro form I filled and handed up previously did not go through either, maybe I made some mistakes? Just my luck.) Anyway, there was this guy who had a cheque with the amount stated in the sms to pay for but the actual amount is $8 more. Poor guy. He made a wasted trip and was told he can make payment on 29June (when school reopens). Why can't we all just pay when school reopens then? Ha.Ha.

Sentosa Trip + Shaun's Birthday Celebration

The sua gu is on the move again! :) One of my very few trips to Sentosa. I didnt even know that now can take monorail instead of bus, 'cause I've only taken bus to Sentosa before x). Went to the beach and also the Southernmost point of continental Asia! Do you know where that is? I didnt until i read the signpost ;). It was really crowded (cant blame cuz its school hols and a Saturday). We saw this event/function going on, and it seems to be a company "exercise day" or something. They were having a Beach Volleyball and the name of their teams were funny to the max, i.e. 'Don't sabo me, CMI, In your Face, Whatever Lah, Free for practice etc" Hahas. It started to drizzle here and there but stopped just as abruptly as it started. Weird weather x) To sum it up, it was a really enjoyable trip :D

Back home to take a shower and rest awhile before heading out to Hougang mall again
to meet up with my NPCC kakis. I was late, but not the 'latest' :) Everyone is still the same! Except for maybe some physical attributes (taller, more tan etc) but we still 'click' as if we were still in secondary school :D We ate at Cafe Cartel and talk many lame stuffs :) See you people soon I hope :)

Its been a seriously long while since I have last posted. Many things has happened since the previous post so i shall take some time in typing them down.

Aurora XIII - Reminiscence
Preparation had been tough for the concert, especially for my president who had been having sleepless nights before the concert day. The whole event went relatively smoothly. I felt really thrilled to see the auditorium filled with friends and families(of my peers). This is most likely to be the last performance on stage for me and as i played the pieces, deep in my mind I was thinking back on the days a year and a half ago where i just joined the club without a clue what lies ahead of me and what experiences were in store for me. Reminiscene, a truely befitting theme for the concert. Playing 'Im Yours' together with my fellow exco-mates were the best moments during the concert, not forgetting the encore piece as well as the SYF pieces. Oh i think i just listed about all the pieces that i performed for the concert x). Oh well, it was really enjoyable to showcase our piece on stage to familiar faces :) For those who have missed the concert, well don't be too sad since next year there will be aurora XIV and dont forget to get your tickets early :) By the end of the concert, everyone was taking photos and meeting up with their friends. I wont deny that i actually enjoyed clearing up the place since it will probably be the last time. The most unforgettable thing that happened after the concert is that I actually brought back the remote control for the air condition in Guitar store home x). Will we ever play together again as an ensemble? Probably no but being able to live that moment was more than enough.

June Camp
This is the event that most seniors were looking for, to tekan the juniors for what our seniors had done to us. The camp was very much UG style, where discipline is the core of the Rule of the camp. I certainly hoped that the camp had served its purpose in instilling more self discipline into juniors or should I say, to make them realise that they should behave when the time calls for it as I do know that many of them have it in them all along. The camp was a 2day camp without staying over which was quite a wet blanket but there is just too many restrictions for staying overnight in school so in the end the whole idea of sleeping over is discarded. However other PDPs having their camp on the same day actually violated many restrictions passed down from the higher-ups. The Exco had a night over in school though. Having econs DRQs session in the night and doing self revision for JCT and gazing at the night sky full of stars together..

Hastings
It was rather unexciting/depressing to hear many repeated answers from the juniors for the questions posted to them. Do they all have the same mindset or do they think that these are the model answer we are looking out for? Perhaps it just sounds good at that moment in time. Of course i understand the stress of sitting there and having to answer a question that you probably never thought of before right after a tiring camp. There were also juniors who fell asleep amidst the hastings. Hastings ended in time and the Decision had to be made. With that decision, our term in the TJC Guitar Exco had ended, but the memories and friendships we had will continue on :)

Studying and Mugging for the examinations ahead (JCT, PRELIMS, Alevels) Life is back to the mundane JC life without having to travel to school and waking up early ;)

The sound of the fireworks are so loud that causes your heart to beat along with it.

But can see the efforts in trying to add artistic values in the fireworks display by adding music and trying to relate it to the growth of the nation.

Student leadership camp was fun

Our RAFT is the most secured, first to set up and never break down =DD

theres this old man, he tripped over something and fell.

ouch, we wanted to help him up but he was so pissed he kicked the object that tripped him
and went to confront the owner of that thing that tripped him (it looks like a casing for an instrument)
then we are like, wah, so zhai fall down not injured for an old man

den the owner is a student la, he look super pissed at the old man who is insisting that he tripped him on purpose - -ll
lame la, we think the old man did that just to bao chun a bit of face left..
but i think doing that is more inappropriate la, so petty, zzz

went for PRI sch outing (bbq) on last sat at samantha's hse.
was really fun to meet up after such a long time.

went npcc EYC campfire last night
b4 campfire i went to tour around the sch again
looked into the classrooms that were once filled with our laughters.
the furnitures remained as how we left them that day.
everything seems jus like yesterday,
jus that now that every seat is empty..
all of us are now missing from our seats.
the classroom is dark and deserted.
awwwwwwwwwwwww
hahas. got the really sad feel. =)

den the courage walk...i didnt manage to scare ppl...zzz
hid in the door with the fire hose.
when i hear footsteps i will bang on the door.
but they bang back..zzz

simply loves weekends now lols. cuz its the only free time i have!!
